Subdomains
Learn more about subdomains, the best way to create them and precisely how they are able to help your online presence.
A subdomain is a website address, that is under a main, or a root domain. An illustration is something.domain.com, where domain.com is the main domain, while "something" is the subdomain below it. Each subdomain can have its own website and records i.e. apart from using the domain name as part of the whole web address, a subdomain can be fully independent and also hosted by a separate provider. Employing a subdomain can be very useful if you wish to have different web sites which are related in some way. For example, you may have a web-based store under the main domain along with a forum under a subdomain so as to offer means for your clients to ask questions or share thoughts concerning your products. The best thing about using a subdomain instead of a subfolder is that the web sites are going to be separated, so that you can update one of them or perform maintenance without affecting the other.

Subdomains in Website Hosting
Every
website hosting package which we offer will allow you to create many subdomains with no more than a couple of mouse clicks in your web hosting CP. They'll all be listed in the section in which you create them and grouped under the main domain for more convenience, so you can effortlessly keep tabs on all of them. Furthermore, you can access many functions for any of the subdomains through right-click context menus - for instance, you can view or modify their DNS records, access the website files, and a lot more. While setting up a new subdomain, you'll also have numerous options that you can select from - specify the default access folder, create custom error pages, activate FrontPage Extensions or choose if the subdomain will use a shared or a dedicated IP address. The number of subdomains you'll have is entirely up to you since we haven't limited this feature for any of our packages.
